wife of Edward Mashburn the schoolmaster -I do not think his wife was Mary Farrar – I think many years ago someone read my GED or my website wrong. I am descended from Marry Farrar though another line – for me to have TWO Mary Farrars at the same generational level is too hard to accept — especially when no one can tell me where that data came from except from "off the Internet"

Steve, I hope you don't mind that I copied your lineage, inserting the changes where necessary. Your research has been fantastic and I would love to help in any way possible. It may be a lot to ask, but a page dedicated to each family in the Mashburn line would be nice.
My Mashburn lineage is through my paternal grandmother, Bessie Mashburn Hamby. She was born on July 23, 1901 in Cherokee County, North Carolina. She spent her entire life in this area.
